Details: Superintendent Pedro Martinez will deliver the 2013 State of Education address, updating short and long-term academic initiatives and District efforts to improve graduation rates, college preparedness, and early intervention programs for students. He also will introduce the WCSD school performance framework, which will provide details about the academic progress of each school, and will discuss the integration of Common Core State Standards in the District's curriculum. Additionally, the superintendent will review the upcoming legislative session, District budget, and funding needs for capital projects during this address.
